I didn't sleep well last night at all. I did not have dreams. I had nightmares. The kind of nightmares that wake you up from a dead sleep. The kind that are still scary and creepy once you wake up. The kind where you have to turn on the TV and cuddle a kitty in order to get back to sleep.

And then eventually you're afraid to go back to sleep, for fear of another terrible nightmare in which friends, family, and even you are in danger and die. I didn't actually die in any of them, I woke up just seconds before death.

I'm tired.
