Well, tomorrow is my birthday...
For some reason this year, I'm just not looking forward to it, and not because I'm hitting some milestone everyone dreads (thats in 2 years...). Maybe the snow storm this week dampened things here, or that I'm dreading it because the past couple haven't been that great either and the prospects for tomorrow aren't looking that well either. I guess it's just wanting to have a really nice day and lately it hasn't been...
So what do I have planned right now? Not a lot. I'm contemplating finally getting to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and at some point will go out to dinner (still deciding if I want to go to Bonefish Grill or Arirang Japanese Steakhouse, or some place else like Charcoal or The Yardley Inn). The downside is that my daughter has karate practice from 5:30 - 7:00 (it's long this week because she has a tournament this weekend). I know that means a lot to her, so I actually don't mind. Just hope I can get a 7:30 reservation so I'm not eating dinner at midnight...
Now, I know the place I'd really LOVE to go for dinner to have some of that wonderful food that @chefbeth's is always showing off in her blogs! That would make for a fantastic birthday dinner! Only problem - that's a few hundred miles away. One of these days, I WILL make it down there for some of her awesome cooking!
