Back home to Michigan tomorrow - and much, much, MUCH to do!!!!!!!! Gotta' get 2 kids off to college and one in high school. Clean up the yard, the animals, the cars, and of course - the HOUSE! blackeyed

You're quite the busy girl. I truly hope you have a fantastic Birthday. Mine is in a month and I'm actually looking forward to it. The past few years I didn't care much about my b-day but this year I feel more inclined to party and celebrate. Don't know why, just do. Anyway, best wishes.

I'm all packed and ready for the drive back to Seattle. Black Butte was fun and very relaxing - but I must return to the real world. smile
We have been watching the Olympic coverage at night..Wow! biggrin I'd forgotten how much I enjoy it! And how about those opening ceremonies????????? !!!!!!!! eeek surreal surreal

I'm a maniac Olympic junkie and have been since age seven and the 1972 Munich games. Those opening ceremonies were, without question, the best EVER!!! If there's a trophy for entertainment value and precision, then just retire it now. The Chinese got it goin' on.

Glad you enjoyed my fair and lovely state. I've been so busy with work and rehearsal and various performance commitments it would've been impossible to find time to get together, I'm afraid. frown Maybe next time? Have a safe trip back! biggrin

So yesterday they filmed the scene in the barbershop with Clint Eastwood. i was standing across the street with MetalEric, and we got to see Clint walk out the door and to the Ford pickup and back - biggrin

I know, all I ever hear from homeowners is them bitching about their houses! So why do they keep telling me to buy one?? wink I'm convinced I'm making the right decision.

My horse SIssy is a little lame, so I haven't been able to ride her for about a week - I wrote about it in the equine group. I rode another horse in my lesson last Monday, but this week is the county fair (e.g., horse show), so no lessons this week. Sissy's doing REALLY well, though. We went through a rough period where she was testing me left and right. It was right when they started using her as a lesson horse (go figure) (she's owned by the barn). But I was consistent with her, plus I increased our positive time together since I felt like I was correcting her left and right! She looooves grooming, so I did extra long grooming sessions, and hand-grazing, and finding all the places she likes to be scritched, etc. We got through that period and our relationship has just grown even better. She's a real sweetie and continues to improve. I hope she gets better soon! I'm glad you & Xena are doing well!

I'm going to the corset shop today. Clint Eastwood is supposed to be filming his newest movie in Royal Oak. And - the location of today's shoot is Right Next Door!! In the barber shop next door to Ivy's Custom Corsetry! eeek eeek eeek I know - too good to be true........
