I couldn't make it to the protests that shut down Lake Shore Drive on Thursday, but there are protests planned all day Friday. So if my mom calls, that's where I'll be.

It is surprisingly better than Run Lola Run; "Steinie" looks like Willem Dafoe, Jr.; saying things like "She was hit by der truck," "It is time for der sexing," or "she is with der neckhole" while watching a German movie is always, always funny; patchy beards are never attractive; German security guards are easily disarmed.

Really liked your entry today - oddly enough, I thought it would make a very good script for a short comic story. Reminded me of Harvey Pekar's work. Some moments of genuine oddness and humor, and an almost philosphical and lyrical last paragraph. I don't think it will be long before you get some other characters checking out your journal...
