They don't bother me too much. This last thing was a road crew, or really one guy who had his head up his ass. As for the ol' boys, they can be obnoxious, but mostly because they are a bunch of idiots, I'm starting to realize. The people who know their shit like me just fine, otherwise I'd be out of a job, there certainly isn't a ton of work to go around where I live.

My dad is a regular carpenter, He's the one who was really giving me hell. Sigh. The non union company that owns me the majority of the time calls me a lighting technician, I should just stick to that to avoid confusion.

Oh and good luck...there's some goddamn movie fever going on down here as well right now...everybody and their mom is fleeing to one set or another it seems. Get on their asses and get yourself working.

Isn't the calling steward a paying position though, that people vote you in for? The person who does all of our calling of crews and whatnot here is the business agent and he gets paid to do that so he doesn't have to work all the time.

I've never had a good St. Pat's experience EVER in my life. And I've got a good old Scots-Irish last name and real Irish heritage to boot, so what gives??

I think there's too much expectation placed upon the frivolity of St. Pat's and far too few happy outcomes to the partying. Why else do they mask it in a haze of alchol, do you supose? It's just another day so don't feel bad about it.

I'm off today to see a local play called "What Mad Pursuit" -- supposedly a so-called world premiere and a friend of mine is cast in the lead. (He's actually one of my Greek theatre cast members from last summer) It's even gotten a decent review from the local paper which is amazing since they tend to hate EVERYTHING!!!

I think that most urban living girls don't care if someone has a car. They know it's usually not necessary for life in the city.

those G3's keep going and going, my laptops a 500mhz g3ibook im still using it every day as my admin /email computer plus some photoshop work.

I dont believe in replacing stuff until its not repairable broken or it doesn't do what you need it to do anymore.

so while ive kept my g3 i have put my g4 tower (for editing) out of service, and man does the G5 dual 2.5 fly for editing and rendering/compression.

My trip to Vancouver was to ride North Shore and Whistler. We drove around quite a bit too. Must be a great place for road riding too.

Why does everything cost so much...because people are willing to pay for it. What would happen if people refused to pay. People pay extremely high prices for rent in large cities...what would happen if no one would do that?

This goes for taxes as well...I do agree that we should pay taxes ,but, our government does not use our money wisely. Do you know anyone who likes paying taxes? Everyone jokes about not paying...what if we did...are they going to arrest everyone?

I date quite differently than most...I have eliminated the desire for sex. I really just like to hang out with girls and get to know them...if we end up having sex great!...if not that's great too!

When I was younger I thougt they would feel differently...as you have more and sex...well...almost all vaginas do feel the same...the person attached is quite different. I didn't mean to slander women and their vaginas....I just came to the realization that it does 'feel' the same.

From reading your past posts...I think you do ask yourself, why in society are things the way they are. I think you, like me, tend to against the grain, and try to it a little different than everyone else.

Hmmmm, you're probably NOT going to believe this, but it's been my experience (and, yes, I do have a few years up on you) that when you just surrender and stop forcing yourself to take chances with people or relationships, something will literally fall into place. I'm sure this ranks right up there with the parental "be yourself" credo, but honestly, the best relationships I've ever EVER had were the ones that came along by utter surprise. Close your eyes. im not gonna lie to you. i tried the "ill just stay home tonight and save some money" idea, and next thing i knew i was tripping my balls off and getting stoned out of my mind. (most of this could be attributed to my roommate but well leave him out of this). enjoy the 18 hours of sleeping while you can. thats what i always aim for.

by the way im in theatre 100 at the local communtiy college and might have some random questions for you. im supposed to see 3 plays this semester and i know you dont live around here but any recomendations?

Yeah, I've thought about that..And it's a very fair comment. I just find her incandecent as a brunette. But, I realised that I should have just gone for it. And not undersold the attraction.
