I've learnt that those types of people are just not there at that time for yourself. Don't beat yourself up for not connecting. Just be you, and continue to be in your moment around them and they'll realize and respond in kind. Or not. But, the "or not" really is NOT your fault at all.

i really hope that whatever is haunting you gets better. my shit comes from years of stuff and did not start within the last year or two. i have had gads for 13~14 years and major depression almost as long. we all suffer, but it doesn't mean we don't care and as far as you are concerned i do worry about you, but i assumed you were needing some space.
