the description of your music collection sounds a lot like mine, as well as your goal for said collection. i previously stated my occupation as 'professional music geek' (click on to my website and look at my 'sample' [that's only the beginning] playlist to see why), and i totally know what you mean now about attempting to educate me and then worrying about sounding like a prick. i happen to have A LOT of music and know A LOT about it, and i worry sometimes in some of my posts that i seem like a total show-off b/c i know the original versions of some songs, or the original bands that people were in, etc. i actually put dr.teeth as my favorite band simply b/c i really can't answer that question! there is no favorite! they're all my favorites! ack! system overload! i've also put 'the riverbottom nightmare band' in that spot.
