After days of warm sunshine and raging water, a cool fog has settled in this morning.

My senile 13 year old dog is asking to go out, then come back in, then go out, then come back in... I suppose I'll behave in such a manner someday.

Wisps of fog pushed by the breeze are rolling over the house, closing us in, then letting us...

We are back from a sojourn to South Carolina. The area we were in, the Piedmont, is beautiful rolling hills and farmland. We stayed in a house with lots of land, adjoining woods and a creek, all of which provided endless fun time for my son and I. Lots of strip malls, chain stores, and other developmental dreck have come to this area, but Simpsonville...

Thank you. I know that the format of the poem is a bit distorted, but I thought it fit too well to leave out.

Watching the sun come up out the window, a bit chilly, need to stoke the fire in the stove. Weekend was full of all the kinds of stress that make you awake and alive.

Really busy life at the moment, not much time for the brain to take a real breath. I am looking forward to a skiing roadtrip soon to change the surroundings for a bit.

What a lovely night of dreams.
Woke to a chill morning, the usual hubub, and a far, far star calling me. The usual hubub, and here I sit at home, able to work for so many from one spot.

Just back from 34 days on the road. First 3 weeks at the flight test center in Mojave, then almost 3 in Fairbanks, Alaska. Me, on an air force base (Eielson), what a hoot!
We made the front page of the Fairbanks newspaper. Must have been a slow news day for a research aircraft to get that much attention.

The highlight of the trip was...
