My sister is awesome and this is why. I came across a great deal on some meat, 40 pounds of country style spare ribs for 75 cents a pound usually its double that. I had planned to do some grilling this weekend with them and try out some new recipes. Tonight when I opened my front door I was blown away by the smell, she had put a bunch of ribs seasoned and sauced in the slow cooker and let them cook most of the afternoon. The cherry on top was an uncooked cornbread in the fridge.

I put the cornbread in the oven and mowed the law while it was cooking, perfect timing for all, finished with the lawn walked into the house and the timer just ended, ribs where done the bread was done and the beer was cold.

I got to sit on my porch enjoy some beautiful weather eat a great meal and watch my nearly useless cats chase bumble bees.

I am very content right now and I needed that.
