After three days traipsing around the woods on a bum ankle I managed to catch a cold. Great now I am sick and I have to go back to work on Monday.

The deer population around me seems to be safe when I am in the woods but on the highway a very different story on the way up to camp I stopped to help a guy who had just hit a deer and on the way back twice I let someone pass me and within a minuet the hit a deer, not the most pleasant sight.

I think that I am going to stop hunting and just target shoot, its not that I am a bad hunter but this is the fifth year in a row where I havent seen a legal buck and the fourth year in a row when I have managed to jack myself up.

I have a friend who wont let things between us get any more serious until I start taking better care of myself. I see her point the men in my family dont tend to live that long and pretty much I want to be around as long as shell have me.

I guess this is sort of my midlife crisis, the last time I stepped on a scale it said get off me you fat bastard I have to make some changes so that doesnt happen again.
