Another eventful week in buffalo (I like the town but its not my town) I am starting to realize just how far out of control my boss let this job go. This week we found out that the surveyor that we used has no idea what the hell they are doing how do you survey an area where people are doing tons of work and not tell anyone that you did your work before they did theirs.
I have reached my limit on TGI Fridays there menu is just too limited for me well I guess anyplace gets old after four weeks. I love the J.D. steak and shrimp but how many times can you eat that. I did find a better place the Century grill I finally had a beef on weck one of the best sandwiches I have ever had I had it with fries I wish that they had it with porgies (I am just a little Pittsburgh) I want to go back up there just for that.
Monday was a good friends 33rd birthday she is one of the few looking forward to being 33 the number 3 is her lucky number so she thinks double it will be better for her (I hope it will) I kind of went a little overboard and got her a Cleveland Cav's number 33 jersey with her name on it. I really wish that I was there when she opened the box. A couple of friends told me that she was glowing after she saw it. the hard part was I work with her so some kind of harassment suite was on my mind since I bought it for her I am so glad that she loves it.
I got one of the people that I was working with to listen to the dropkick murphys because she said that she hated punk well she is now a convert to good music.
Fridays lately have been a long drive home but today was made much better I was made a copy of Steely Dans boxed set four cd's of the Dan to listen to on the way home. I heard some old favorites and some songs that I have not heard before kick ass.
It's good to be home
