I got my first groundhog of the year. My brother works with a guy who has a farm and two years ago he had to have his horse put down when she broke her leg stepping into a groundhog hole. Lee hates them with a passion now he wants me and my brother to kill all the chucks on his farm. I impressed lee and myself I saw the chuck moving across the lower field and I asked lee if he had a rifle handy he went and got me his old Remington I lined the sights up on him got my brother to whistle to freeze him and put one right through his head. We counted off the paces and it was 186 paces to where I hit him not a bad shot considering I was using a rifle that I had never shot with open sights. Now I can't wait to use my rifles out at the farm and not just at the range.
