i live super close to the lake. i can see the lake.

i havent been to the oakland zoo. something says to me that it would be smelly. i really want to one day go to the chabot space thing. with the telescopes and stuff. observatorium thing. i should just go and do it one day. forget you hippies. im going to go see stars.

Hell yeah I was at the Mab! My band even played one of the last shows there. I started going to shows when i was about 13. No one got carded in those days. Broadway was so hoppin in the 80's! The Stone, The Chi Chi, On Broadway. I think that whole block should be burned down - it makes me sad to see what it has become.

I probably heard you on KALX a million times - it was one of the only good places to win tickets!

Hey - you do look a bit familiar in your new pic. I probly saw you around the city. Did you use to DJ at clubs?

I worked at the Maritime Hall from 95-98 or so. I ran camera and directed video. Just an asthetical aside, there's nothing worse than doing video of a rap show! A couple hours of people pacing back and forth and shouting "Throw your hands in the Ay-yuh" every once in a while! No guitar solos, no drums and the DJ is always in the back in the dark.

I wish I did like rap sometimes - people seem to have a lot of fun with it. I love old country, but I hate the new shit as much as rap. I think most new music is pretty bad and unmemorable.

When were you on KALX? I remember when it was only 10 watts and we would climb up on a hill in Marin so we could listen to punk rock!
