Fucking rain... the city was shut down because of fucking rain. Okay, well the rain did come from a Class 4 hurricane that ravaged CUba and Jamaica, but c'mon! This is Atlanta! there's no water here! All we're gonna get is a few downspours and probably some downed powerlines and flooding. It's not that crucial people!
That's one thing that all northerners say about the South that I agree with. The minute it looks like the sky won't be blue for more than 8 hours grocery stores are looted! A drop of snow and you'd thing there was a terrorist attack or something. It's getting so schools shut down if they even think that the Earth might move funny.
But I guess I shouldn't be complaining. because of someones heightened sense of panic I get out of work a little early... And you really can't fight the stupid when they get their collective heads together. You just have to go along with the ride.
I will say one thing.. the weather may be shitty, but it' snot gonna prevent me from drinking! I'm gonna rail against the wrath of Mother Nature by getting piss drunk! that'll show her whose in charge! Just like my old man used to do!

i used to be from the east coast... i misss the rain. enjoy some for me. i have not seen a drop in 4 months

Sorry, but for me that's not so bad. I'd rather sit in the sun and bake than suffer through a deluge. I went to see Radiohead at an outside venue and it rained the entire time. I came back soaked! I still loved the show, but I hated the weather.
