Ticks all the right boxes - tech geek, music geek, cute alternative girl... Made me feel warm and fuzzy inside just reading it.

I was actually bored at work today. I think that's the first time in something like four or five years.

I'm living with less music than usual - my headphones are away at the B&O workshop being examined prior to replacement. I find myself walking to and from work and around and about Glasgow without the usual constant soundtrack. It's odd. I kinda like it, but I'm damned glad it's only temporary.

Overwork is overwork. Whether the work is fun or not.

It's midnight, on my day off (planned in advance, to allow for potential hangover from last night's gig/dancing shenanigans)... and I've just finished off the freelance work I needed to get done. On my day off. Because it's freelance, y'see, not real work.

Some fucker spilt bourboncoke all over my shiny new white T-shirt tonight.

On the upside, I heard my second live PWEI cover in a week. And danced far more than should be possible for a man of my advanced years to various shite industrial/techno.

I got called a 'girl' today, for clothes shopping in the sales, then taking said purchases to a tailor to get altered with the money I saved. Apparently boys shouldn't do that, and should stick to buying clothes that fit in the first place at full price.

End of the Month Club last night. Oh, how we laughed. Oh, how we danced. Oh, how TJ performed an off-the-cuff acappella version of Def Con One.
