Just wanted to drop in to say, for those of you who care, I have not been around this past week, due to an extremely busy work schedule.
Large software client, and the movie mentioned in my last entry. And it seems that in addition to directing, the backer of this movie wants my company to actually produce it.
So, since we are looking to increase our rep as producers as well, we are jumping on it, getting a budget together, etc.
All of this means, I am too busy for social life at the moment. So if you don't see me around, I'm out making a living

That one you sent me from New Scientist is awesome - that's a great magazine, a bit more accessible to the layman than Scientific American, and often gets interesting submissions.
As for that article - I wonder if there could be bose-einstein condensates inside the crystal with those sorts of pressure? That would be really wild - a quantum white dwarf, like a gigantic super-atom.
