Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Not having the best week of my life here.
Yesterday, I took my car in to get the brake light fixed. They said they could repair it quite easily. They even found a nail in one of the tires offered to take care of that too. Now, I know what you might be thinking, but the bill was shockingly low and I've gone there before so I did not believe I was being fleeced. Therefore, I let them fix the lights. And they didfor the time it took me to drive off the lot and get a mile down the road.
Of course, this means I get pulled over again. Just to make things even more ironic, I got pulled over by the same police officer as last time. (I guess we go into work at the same time.) This time, however, I had a dated invoice stating my car is trouble free. That made things go a bit smoother.
Now, because the work Im doing right now is kind of sensitive, I have been invited to the inner sanctum: my dads private office. Its kinda small, but awesome. Leather chairs, giant couch, big screen TVeverything is in here. Now that TV came in handy. You see, my father is an ultra conservative Texas businessman, so guess what? Yes, I get to watch Reagans funeral in its entirety. Yipee. He didnt even let me amuse myself with a humorous commentary. (In keeping with his public record, the 21-gun salute is firing into a low-income neighborhood.)
Yeah, my dad isnt happy with me at all today. While he was going on about why Reagan was such a great president I said, Thank God there was someone to stand up and say that nothing is wrong with the country other than interest rates. Yeah! Wait That three seconds of confusion was one of the funnier moments today.
Speaking of Fox Newsbecause of the current situation, Ive had to watch quite a bit of the fair and balanced network. This is a quote from a commentator during the procession yesterday. I can feel a lot of love for President Reagan today. You know, the reason for the hype, that is, the attention over Kennedys presidency comes from his assassination. Thats me, Pomfelo, your Right Wing spy.
Add this with the six inch gash in my leg and the missing skin on my left hand, its turning into the best day ever. (Boring story, trust me.)
I wanted to comment on a bunch of peoples journals right now, but Thatchers speech is ending and hes going to notice Im not doing labor reports any moment.
