My heart breaks this morning. I am sitting here at work just wanting to curl into a corner and cry. Yesterday a van drove into a square killing people enjoying some sun and foid in Germany then the driver took their own life. Acts like this are becoming far to common place all over and murder splashes across the front page of the paper on a daily basis almost making us numb to the horror and shock.
Then in Canada, a juniors hockey club the Humbolt Broncos, team by a was t-boned by a semi truck killing 14 players and injuring 14 others. They were on their way to play game 5 in a series. Players, competing in a sport they love, with futures bright and wide open stretched out before then. Tragedy strikes again.
My heart aches and bleeds with each victim. Life cut short. Two large and important parts of my life hurting today.
