If it hasn't caused anything negative to happen perhaps this is not evil. I don't honestly know much except a few small things that have happened to my mom and I. You should seek counsel with someone that works with mediums. They might give you insight. I chose not to acknowledge things around me here because it scares me yet I have had the odd thing happen. Usually with good intentions so far as I can tell. Hopefully your grandmother is along side to protect and be there for you as well.
I have seen most post about something scary that has happened to them. I recently read a post of a photographer who was almost assaulted and scammed by a blonde and phantom truck on a trip. I had a similar experience.
