Built the desk, unpacked and set up the computer and managed to network it to the prviously over used computer of my best mate. So we can be online queens together! Fabulous darling!
Well, this weekend has been quiet but good. Was supposed to be out Friday but my best male mate hasd the worst memory in the world and thought I was out Saturday. Hence quick reshuffle and chilled at home Friday night chatting to the lovely new police fella I met.
Saturday was spent purchasing various computer deskage and gadgetry components, putting those together and putting plugs etc. in the (hopefully) right places. And talking to the lovely police fella again!
Went out to my old hometown of Reading to see all my biking boys. They were pretty much all out, except Gav who stayed home with his lady. Sad-o!!
Seems almost everyone is dropping or about to drop babies. Got me wondering whether my current single status was becoming an oddity? But then my mate reminded me that I've never been too good with following trends so guess I'm happy with the way things are at the mo. Just scarey when those who always swore they would never settle are now choosing first child names.
Today has been a really quiet one. Stayed in bed until about half twelve this afternoon and then cleaned up dog shit. Great fun! Especially when my hand went through the bag and straight into a particularly squelchy pile of it. Mmmmm
Thereafter I have been pottering around on here and clearing viruses and such off the other pc. A hurried update of virus protection programmes swiftly followed!
This week will mostly consist of doing source questions for my History coursework, statistics project work for Maths and a hell of a lot of project stuff for work. All to help me get that elusive funding for my degree. Will have to wait and see I guess. Fingers and everything possible crossed!
