If Dr. who started as the first doctor being the grandfather, how can the Dr. now be the last of his race?
Did she die (she would be about my age) Was she adopted? Did it not count because she wasn't full blooded? Did she not count because she didn't go to school on Gallifrey? (and therefor doesn't know the secret handshake?)

Why doesn't the Dr. hop in the TARDIS go copulate with a Gallifreyan, and bring a family into our present or future?

Can't the Dr.inter breed with humans (his granddaughter Susan) or other species?
If Susan was his granddaughter, then his offspring are not like mules. (i can clarify that for people ho don't know about reproduction between mules)

Okay... if you know someone isn't sleeping, and you suspect it's because of stress and depression, do you really think that 4:30 AM is a good time to bring up THE FUTURE?
