so i'm back in the lab, again, with things to do. some of the last things that need to be done, and i'm not doing them. because i'm stupid like that. there's also things to be done not-lab related and i'm not doing those at the moment either, and they definately need to be done in the next twelve hours but they still seem vaguely do-able in my adled brain.

killing joke was a pretty decent show. jaz looks like gabriel byrne crossed with sean's dad but he's got a great stage presence. well, i thought he had a great stage presence. they played some hard stuff, some old stuff, and almost all good stuff. i was pleased that two of three songs i really wanted to hear were done (sadly, not "night time"). and i realized that no matter how amazing the first killing joke album is it isn't very mosh-able with the exception of "the wait". but i did my best. i also realized that for all the miles i've put under my boots this semester i still can barely sustain a full mosh for only 30 seconds or so. soft. that needs to be changed before ministry.

i'm not bleeding quite so much purple when i wash my hair now, either. but definately still enough to mess up the floor and discolor the collar of my godspeed you! black emperor shirt.

sean goes home tomorrow, so i'm now sorely lacking in drinking buddies, however that might not be such a bad thing considering my strained funds won't absorb much of that kind of activity and i still have 11 days worth of beans to eat.
