it's been may 3 for three hours so i only feel like 34% of an asshole for posting again so quickly (not like anyone reads this thing anyways) but i'm out of stuff to distract myself with online and my paper is dragging itself along. i fear the wrath of pinner because though i thought i had a pretty good handle on what i was going to write, i now worry that discussing the characters at length is going to consitute plot summary and he'll eat my face. or not read my paper and give me a "b", fuck, i wish we'd had an actual assignment that was graded thusfar so i'd know what to expect.

finally saw hostel, it doesn't have much value beyond a one-off "i can't believe they filmed that" type deal. not bad, but not great. it's got lots of sex and nudity and then all sorts of gore so it's nice for a stupid evening out. the proposition is on tonight (penned by nick cave himself) but i'm thinking i'll forego that to preserve my money for another day (down to 30 in my hsbc account, horray). basically, i'm out of cash and my grades are going down the shitter. it'll be nice when this damned semester finally drags its miserable carcass over the finish line and i can go home and try to figure out what to do next.

in other news, i found myself in a picture of the mayday protests but i'm very small in it. bright purple hair has its plus sides. i also got real worried this morning that i'd end up on the no-fly list and i'd have to take a boat home but the more i thought about i realized that wouldn't be so bad.
