they say that it's good to maintain continuity, or a routine, or whatever. you know, do the some of the same things you always do just to keep yourself grounded and, by extension, (mostly) sane. that's why i'm now in the computer lab, with nine hours to go until my presentation and quite ill-prepared for it because i just cannot care about this class. i got me two red bulls in my satchel and an entire internet to distract me. so basically, i'm doing the same stuff thing i always do before big assignments in awful classes, that is, wait until the absolute last minute and churn something out that is either a)utterly brilliant or b)shit. my woman's intuition is saying "shit", but we'll see.
the bar for the presentations so far hasn't been set too high, IMHO, and the supposed "best" one (no names named) was kind of bullshit. everyone also believes that i'm irrepressibly prone to rambling so if i don't say much they'll think i'm totally on the ball for once. and i can make them eat chana afterwards and everyone will be happy. pray for me.
in other news, beans-and-toast week is thusfar an utter failure. oh well.
