the damage:
calculus: bad...if i get a C, i'll be fairly happy
art history: not bad at all...in fact, it's nice to see that at least one set of flashcards helped (all sixty of 'em)
art: newman said he "liked it" and "isn't worried about me", which is actually about third or fourth compliment of that sort i've gotten in the entirety of college so far.
an old friend and alumnus is visiting this week. last night we celebrated my shitty first three days of the week by getting all messed up, going to nichols and beal, where for some reason i got in despite being a few weeks shy of 21 as there was no burly men at the door. we met some girls i know from various places, they were all messed up too. i was totally on my "being witty and interesting albeit intoxicated" game, which is good too. i've kind of sucked at that lately, the evening ended with a four person game of strip pool, but three of us were dudes and one of the dudes showed up naked to begin with. story of my life
i'm sure there's more of the same in store tonight.
oh! and made it to NYC this weekend, and saw the zak smith show (yay!). also big thumbs up go to the sweet spirit photography thingy at the met and the extremely tasty indian cuisine i got to go at grand central.
