Mexico, you are awesome! Happy Cinqo De Mayo! I have a long day ahead of me before I get to celebrate you but I want to thank you right now for producing awesome things like Lucha Libre, Tequila, Sugar Skulls and not to mention a deep and rich history and culture dating back thousands of years... oh and your women are sexy as hell! I'm a big fan of Albert Camus the Myth of Sisyphus.
From Wikipedia In the essay, Camus introduces his philosophy of the absurd: man's futile search for meaning, unity and clarity in the face of an unintelligible world devoid of God and eternal truths or values. Does the realization of the absurd require suicide? Camus answers: "No. It requires revolt." He then outlines several approaches... Read More
Woke up this morning with a cold and sneezed half the day. For some reason, the weather reminded me of being really young, maybe 5, and visiting my Nan at her little townhouse overlooking the harbor. She had this little white Sony radio in the kitchen and I would sit there and listen to Motown and Soul and R&B while she baked us patties or... Read More

*edit* I'm so over yesterday.
Them Crooked Vultures live would be amazing! So much talent and depth in the music. At first, I wasn't sure what to make of the album but over the last few months, I just keep coming back and I hear something else each... Read More
Spring Cleaning in full effect! I'm getting rid of all the things I know no longer need and and when it's over, I hope to have a crystal clear picture of what is essential. Not just in my belongings but in my life.
Renovations on the home I am currently renting continue and the yard is looking great! When it's done I will be sure... Read More
I call Northern Ont. lil' B.C. on account of all the lil' mountain ranges up in those parts. The Canadian Shield is a sonofagun for trying to build or plant on, but the wooded, laked and streamed areas are prolly smaller versions of what you see out your way. I liked BC but I hear its terribly expensive to buy land or just live.
Thats everywhere though eh! The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is much like Ontario as well except it has the warm part of Lake Superior (which has like no warm parts).
Spring cleaning is the BEST!!! Physically and mentally. I spring cleaned a few people outta my life and I feel fabu!
Congrats on your yard work! I would love to see some before pic's as well as the "afters".
I continue to look for ways to avoid work.
I repotted almost every shoot, root and plant in our apt and now I'm prolly going to paint the bedroom (I was thinking Where the Wild Things Are meets Jungle bunny). If I do it, I'll post a pic.
Ta from the East! Have a superbadass day on the other side of the country!
The Phillip's guys were just at Brewery Creek, and I heard them talking about Double Dragon which reminded me to get some. Then one of them gave me a Phillip's bottle opener. It was awesome.
Gosh Im sad.
