i miss texas and my brother. he and i used to shoot each other with shotguns and get drunk and chase women and be general hellraisers together. we were crazy boys and inseparable brothers and you couldn't fit the thinnest sheet of paper between us. we knew what the other happened to be thinking at any given moment, and our tempers were never shorter with anyone else. i almost killed some asshole one time for fucking with my brother; we're talking cracked bones and flowing blood and cops and assault charges.

he's been with me since our beloved mom brought him home to share my room with. bunk beds, bmx bikes and wiffleball games and shooting streetlights out with our bb guns...breaking the hearts of the schoogirls and feeling like we loved every single one of them.
