In the real world I think I suffer from caligynephobia.

Halloween was a damp blast. If I was a kid I would have been too bummed by the huge downpour right at twilight, luckily being an adult most of my activities were sheltered. I got to see "The King of Country Western Troubadours" at The Grey Eagle. Unknown Hinson is incredible live, a really accomplished guitar player. He did two Hendrix (Manic Depression &...

I have foreseen how humans will become extinct. It's not from a mutant virus, or a wayward meteor, or thermonuclear annihilation. No, I think that sometime in the future the human race will become allergic to everything it eats, and thus starve to death. The rate of food allergies seems to be rising at an alarming rate! Twenty years ago who ever heard of an...

So it's abnormally cold here. The higher mountains had around 1-2" of snow last night. Down in Asheville we didn't see anything, but it was bitterly cold. It caught many people off guard. I have a few friends who were camping out at the LEAF music festival this weekend. I wouldn't have wanted to be in their shoes, or sandals I should say. The hipsters...

The creek is risin'. It's been raining here for over a week. It feels like 39 days. I'm starting to consider building a big boat.

Well if the possums get a boat ride, you have to invite the raccoons too.

And the rabbits. And the miniature horses.
You're going to need a bigger boat.

Rabbits!

I'm addicted to TapWord.

The summer is winding down. This week I'm finishing up my final lighting design for a theater out in Burnsville NC. Macbeth opens next weekend. That will be the final summer show for me this season. It's been a hectic, and sometimes stressful summer, but it's been a good one. I just wish I could have gone somewhere. Things aren't...

Oh man, I can see how Tapword would become addictive.

Sounds like you're busy, which is usually a good thing. smile Weren't you saying before that you didn't get enough theater stuff to do outside of the summer stuff? Or am I making that up?

Also, first graders don't take naps, anymore. 2.5 hours of literacy every day... NO NAPS!

I love the fact that we have a President who can say, "Come on up to the White House, and we'll have a beer and discuss it." and it happens. Granted it was a big photo-op but "The Beer Summit" as it has been dubbed, is, as I see it, a momentous occasion of proletarianism in the highest office in the land. A bunch of...

I've only recently started to "learn" to drink beer. Always stuck to cider or hard stuff. The Peche is really nice. Let me know if you try it. And can I ask a super dumb question? I was told, but forgot. What the fuck is IPA again? I feel so lame in my attempts to learn!

I have not seen Moon but the poster looks awesome and I've heard good things. It's Bowie's son who did it? What is it about? I have not seen a film in so painfully long but I'm excited that Oscar season is approaching at least.

Oh and P.S.....speaking of our president again...I just bought a new fragrance oil called...Obama. Only in West Philly, one can presume. It's delicious.

Hello!

This is a prefabricated message (definitely copy pasted) to say thank you for leaving a comment on my new set. I would totally write you something sweet and personal but unfortunately I have laundry to do and dogs to feed... and....

Yeah, ok. I'm just lazy wink

Thank You!
