I'll be licensed to teach K-6, and at the moment I don't have a preference. They all have their pros and cons... just depends on what's available. I'd really like to leave myself open to any grade until I've been teaching for a while, because I don't want to limit myself. Sadly, a degree in teaching isn't the job security everyone thinks it is. Yeah, everyone needs teachers, but not being able to afford them kinda trumps that.

October is hands down the prettiest month in the Mountains. It's also filled to the brim with tourists. They're great for our economy, but there a pain in the ass sometimes. Forget getting a table at any restaurant for the entire month of October. My mom and I went out to eat Friday night and we had to wait almost an hour for a table....

The personal trainer went well, but I am sore as hell this morning. I'm meeting with him again on Friday - this time for a 'real' session. Last nights was kind of a 'find out where you are' session. I'm a lazy bum. I really need to work on my cardio, but I think part of the problem with that was that the treadmill was really uncomfortable. And not in a lazy bum kind of way, more of an ergonomic kind of way.
Tonight I'm going to spend 15 minutes on the eliptical machine and then try the pilates class. I hope I am anyway.
