Yessss!!! I'm going to Buenos Aires in September! My dad is getting married and moving there for good. He's sending us to Argentina and paying for our hotel. I can't wait to meet my future step-mom. I've talked to her on the computer via webcam before. I don't have a webcam, my dad has one at his house and I usually talk to her when we go over there. She loves Ian.
The only thing that I am not looking forward to is the flight over there. The last time I flew with my son he was just under 2 years old so I didn't have to buy him a ticket. It was a five hour flight to Texas. On the way there he was really good. On the way back, he got sick of sitting on my lap, so I let him stand in the aisle. I made sure he stayed near me and that he wasn't in anyone's way. He had fun talking to a lot of the people on the plane. It was when we started landing that all hell broke loose.
I had to put him back on my lap, but he wasn't having it. He started kicking, screaming, scratching, slapping, biting not only me but anyone who was in the vicinity of our seat. He kicked off one of his shoes and it went flying and ended up hitting someone in a seat two rows ahead of us. He ripped my shirt open and since I wasn't wearing a bra, I ended up flashing half of the people on the plane. He acted this until the plane landed and we got off. He's definately getting his own seat when we fly to Argentina. I was alone with him on that last flight but on this upcoming flight I should be on the same plane as my husband and my sister. Hopefully, this will make things a lot easier.
