I miss going to college. I miss the drive there. I miss picking what cd's I'll take for the ride. I miss sitting in class and learning. I miss taking notes. I miss meeting other students. I miss looking at all the nice looking girls on campus. I miss joking with friends in class. I miss waiting around in between classes. Reading in the library, or on the computer, or doing homework, or listening to music, or playing basketball in the gym. I miss going to lunch with my friends. I miss having homework to do. I miss having night classes. I miss those last 5 minutes before class gets out. Those 5 minutes that are so long. And getting out of class. The feeling of temporary freedom! And I miss the ride home. The music. On a beautiful sunny day. Or the sun going down. Or in the freezing cold. The warmth of the car heater... after it finally warms up after like 10 minutes of freezing! I actually miss taking exams. Sure I buggered some of them up. But the ones where I studied hard and felt confident about almost every answer... what a great feeling that used to give me when it was over.

Man... 6 and 1/2 years I had of doing all of that. Now i'm 25 and I might never set foot in a classroom again. That's sad. I'm starting to feel like I'm getting old. I mean... I don't feel old. But more like I know I'm getting old. But I always want to be connected with young people somehow. I think lots of people feel embarassed or uncomfortable to be around younger people, but they forget that they were once the same age! And I think when you are young it is the best time of your life. So I never wanna lose the part of me that is young. I will always try to be young no matter how old I am.
