you are absolutely right you are sexy. do it for you and only you, if someone makes you feel any different than thats there opinion. It would be one thing if you were over weight which your clearly not. I'm not a trainer per say but i can leave you cheap simple advice to help for fast results.
No starch carbs after 5 pm, mostly water, becareful with fruit intake. for exercise its simple 50 sit ups and 50 crunches a day, right on your living room floor, and finally maybe a nice walk once or twice a week. These are all useful tips that require no gym memberships.

I suppose it's a perception thing as well - I'm a bigger girl, but not overweight - I'm muscular and I have a large frame, I've been told that by medical professionals/trainers. But when you go to buy clothes and see the size tag, it messes with your head.
