It's called life, it's not always roses, but you've been dealt a pretty clean hand -- because we live where we do, I think we've adjusted the scale we measure our shit on accordingly; chopped [or covered] the entire bottom half. So if you're from a 6 - 7, y'know, shit is super rough .. and we let ourselves and each other go on thinking this; we really perpetuate this idea. 9 - 10 is acceptable. 8 is just skating by. I have to constantly [and everyone should] realign my perception to allow for that 1- 5.
I got away from what -you're- talking about, but I guess that's a small rant of my own. It's true, though.. and it lends a hand in the way people baby themselves. And become so soft and intolerant as a result.

And, that first tram-thing I rode was in DC. That was fun. It was big, but in a comfortable way, and you'd kind of expect it..
But you should have SEEN .. The fuckin' mess that was Chicago. The airport itself is like a million buildings and you have to get in line to take actual busses, with drivers, to the different parts .. and I was just horrified. I cut it really close. Then you find your "building" and you get out and there's a circle of chairs in one huge room and branches out to all these different gates, all in the same place .. loudspeakers yelling over each other .. Like, madness.

No. No. No. Wattttcccchhhhhhhhhh thissssssssssss. They invited him to "their turf" for a Q&A, they get to ask him whatever, and he just has to answer -- and he accepted. The White House asked that it be televised, which has never happened before.. and they reluctantly agreed. It was brilliant, and both parties are actually really happy with the results. I repeat -- it was brilliant.

Regarding the cold -- yeah. I had numbed myself prior to the trip, but upon coming back.. just, ugh. Ugh. Ugh. I am BIG on the inner-shivers, the gut-kind, the tummy-quivers. The kind that rack you and it hurts?
I mean, I think my teeth start chattering [and hard] at like .. 49 degrees. So this is just no good at all.
It was 4 this morning. Four. Degrees. Wtf.
