It's so beautiful that you're afraid of it. Like if you touch it, it will shatter and you'll have stolen it from the world.

It's like that.

I have to go play Army this weekend. I cannot describe to you how much I hate the Army Reserve. My unit is such a massive waste of tax dollars...

I need to clean my bath tub.

I think my tonsils are swelling.

I watched the first two episodes of Torchwood this week.

I'm starting to fatigue.

I had to wake up at five this morning.

I need a new computer.

I don't need a new computer.

I want a new computer.

I need a TV to play my new Wii on.

I want to...

I have not yet fully decided what to make of it. I like SF but am not much into that flood of mystery series. Still the actors and the scripts are rather good.

I also like Fantasy but I rarely like to see it mixed.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
...except when one turns out to be the other like in the "Dragon Riders of Pern"

P.S.: I will send you a mail with a short story wink

curioustomcat:
I first read her in translation. I can not tell much of the writing style therefore.
I did like the the story and the ideas and how it all came round 180 degrees in the end without straining logic.

I do like Alan Dean Foster a lot. He always surprises with good books to rather plain movies.
China Mieville is fantastic for his weirdness and opening those strange worlds of his to easy access.
For style, I love Pratchett, especially in cooperation with Gaiman.

...and of course the classics: Asimov, Heinlein, Clarke, Dick etc
Each with his own strenghts and weaknesses.

I'm on such a social kick!

After such an eventful weekend, I really just want to spend time with people. Do you want to spend time with me?

Has there ever been any doubt?
Sadly though, you're on one side of the country and I'm on the other.
Not sure how soon we can meet for drinks!

I'd like to spend time with you but the distance might be a problem... Do you want to come to Europe?

If there is a sexing reward involved then I can produce the receipts - just let me know for what I need the receipt. I knew that all those years of filling out T&E reports would payoff!!!!!

I hope that this means we will continue to see you around.
threadlocker:
Yeah, I'd like to thank whoever gifted you, as well.

The celebrity has re-emerged. Bad timing, KG. Bad timing.

He wants to come visit. Am I obligated to house him? Too much opportunity for awkward sexual tension. DO NOT WANT.

curioustomcat:
I do not advise for lies. Simply tell him that you do not want to house him and would be more comfortable with a little distance. I can not advise on more details as I can not look into your head but my advise is to simply tell him the truth instead of manoevering around.
argene:
No, not neccesary to house him. Just make your boundaries known.

I went to the Gay Pride Parade on Sunday. It was so fantastic. It was the most amazing day of my life, I think. I've never felt so connected and accepted and beautiful. I met a great guy. A really great guy. I want to tell you all about how amazing a kisser he is and how electric his touch is, but I'll spare you....
