occam

So at one point while I was doing some work for next week my dog ran away today. It's nice having random little heart attacks. She was gone for several hours in fact I got calls from two different people about her. Turns out she ran away from the first person that found her. She's a great dog but she doesn't do well with freedom, she just bolts. I'm also not very good with the responsiblity of having a dog yet. She was my roommate/best friend's dog and since she passed away I was really the only person that should have taken her. She also had the old tags from my friend but I was lucky to still have access to her voice mail otherwise she'd be gone for good probably. She now has new tags with my number on it. I probably should have at least attempted to give the guy that found her a reward but I didn't have any cash on me at the time anyways. Maybe I'll just mail him a gift card to trader joe's or something. I'm glad this happened in Alameda rather than Oakland. One time in Oakland a little kid just opened the gate and took her. I found him a mile or so away and gave him a good little scare, which I kinda felt bad for, he must have been no older than 5 or so. Why are 5 year olds roaming around east oakland by themselves anyways?

Also...IPod video's are quite cool. I feel like a trendy whore but anyone that's seen my stuff would know that the only legitimate whoring I do is with guitar stuff. I can now watch Pink Floyd at Pompeii or Boris concert's anywhere...not really sure where I'd want to watch them but I suppose the option is nice. I also may be the only guy on earth to not have porn on his yet.
