so i applied for this really killer apartment yesterday, then today they call me all bitchy about my credit app because i haven't worked in so long. i explained to them that i had money and it would be fine. they asked for bank statements, so i sent them statements from my checking acct and 2 brokerage accts and offered to pay 6 mos rent up front if that wasn't good enough (which it should be anyways, the fuckers) so then they said everything should be fine and they'd call back to have me come in and sign the lease .... but they never called. so now i'm all stressed because i really dig this place and don't want to lose it. guess i'll call them in the morning and find out what the deal is.
Mynka's coming in tonight to visit for the weekend. we're gonna go tear shit up.

they called; went and signed the lease earlier, they went ahead and gave me the keys, etc. gonna head over with the camera later and get some snaps.

they'll call, no one wants an empty money pit...
They also gave me crap about my application since I don't have a job yet in Chicago. But I have a job here! Even so, I had to fax over a copy of my financial aid summary. Like those bastards need to know that I'm going to be in debt up to my fucking hairline in two years time (and the majority of it will be going to them).
Fuck them, fuck them all.
But on a happy note, it's the best kick ass apartment around!
