man, was that some bad bowling. guess that's what i get for taking a week off.

great crowd, though -- haven't seen that many at bowling night in a loooong time

sat around talking to the bowling bartendress about texas and heartache, which seems a pretty appropriate pairing of topics. we decided to go hang out and be distant and reserved together sometime.

today, i'm concentrating on collecting some money owed to me and trying to keep the bill wolves at bay until that happens.

i should know on the philly thing within a month or so. not too excited about moving out of chicago, to be honest. i like it here, and i've only been around for 5 months, but i've just had zero luck with finding a job here, and the philly job would be a huge break for me. i don't know anyone in philly

ah well, it's a pretty cool town, at least. i was out there last year for a few days and really enjoyed it. guess we'll see how it all pans out.
