The slow groove of good 70's soul, fresh Rainier cherries, good bottled water, a soul-wrenching blue sky, clean air, the feel of a high-quality cotton shirt, and more--those are my happiness today.

Sorry I didn't get your reply in time the other night. But thanks for the offer.

What were your thoughts on it?
it_thing_hard_on:
I thought a time progression of that scene showing them with photos stapled all over their entire bodies would have been great. I also would have liked it if Tiny had left Cutter in the house to burn because if you remember anything of House of 1000 Corpses it was Tiny's father who set fire to him while he was sleeping.

And I might have had them get away in the end. I'm not a fan of happy endings but I felt it would have benefitted from a "Mosters we are, lest monsters we become" ending.

Today is better. I went to the gym and had pain au chocolat with fresh orange juice for breakfast.

I had nothing to do at work, since I'd made sure to have things done ahead of time, so I left early. Then I traipsed through the farmer's market in Bellevue. I read GQ out in the sun and now I'm going to see Wedding Crashers...

Eh, three weeks sounds like a good, round number at least. I'll give it a shot.

And I do like breaking hips.
mistersatan:
In n' Out doesn't count, right?

Right?!

As much as I tell people that I don't have recognizable emotions, I do have moods, which are kind of bastard cousins of emotions. Tonight, I'm melancholy and contemplative. Why? No clue.

Life is, as most always, good for me. Hell, I got to see some friends I don't see often enough, so things were better than alright. Still, here I sit, one morose bastard,...

mistersatan:
Yes, but where would we find a Chairman to decide what the secret ingredient will be?
mistersatan:
Ha! Excellent!

I'm kind of afraid what the secret ingredient would be, though. You know it's either gonna be pizza, or something impossible like rat shit.

Today, I made up a song about pooing that sounds suspiciously like "For Those About to Rock". I was singing it when I passed my CEO coming out of the bathroom. Then, I wonder why they think I'm eccentric.

Did you smile as you walked by?

Kicked back listening to Isaac Hayes. Bored and restless. So tired I can barely keep my eyes open and unable to sleep.

I hate when I get like this.

I can also play folly with my foe's sense of accomplishment by saying "Oh, so ya beat a one-legged opponent, matey? You must have a johnson like a ballista, ya wee coward."

Thank you. smile

Best thing about my new phone: I walked onto a crowded elevator just as my phone (in my front pocket) started playing "The Imperial March". Nothing like ominous, CD-quality noises coming from your crotch.

That is odd... maybe your childhood was completely lacking. Poor thing...

*snicker* Better than than annoying pop-music noises coming from your crotch.

Three weeks of nonstop stress, bad eating, and no sleep has finally caught up with me, so I'm going lie abed and read all day.

I enjoyed seeing people out and abut last night. Hopefully, I'll be around more.

Mm, bourbon on vanilla ice cream sounds really damn good.

It was nice to meet you too. smile
You guys had better come down here soon like you said. You got my hopes up and everything.

How is it?

Time for an update...perhaps.

I've spent a good portion of the evening eating fresh Rainier cherries, sipping bottled water, and watching French movies.

The air coming through my window smells of good bacon. Why I can't imagine at this time of the evening, but it does. The smell of good bacon frying--not the hideous Hormel atrocity, but honest-to-God real bacon--always reminds me of home and...

I saw an iMix in the iTunes music store purporting to be "The Sound of the Future". What does the future sound like, you might ask. A lot like the current playlist on any "alternative" radio station you might stumble onto in a major city. Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand, Furureheads, Kaiser Chiefs, and the Bloc Party were the stalwarts of the list. I'm all for interesting...

Cherries are good, but I still prefer gin and Marilyn.

Watched several movies, had some pho, ran all my errands, read some books, went to the gym, and now it's back to the fray. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Mmmm....lather.

I find myself the center of a territorial pissing match when all I'm trying to do is solve problems. I don't get how people can scream till they're hoarse about how someone is acting out of his mandate while not mentioning that if he didn't nothing would get done. I don't care about titles or org charts or job descriptions. I wish the rest of...
