sory to hear about the headache...frown
telling you that the houseboat isn't available this year isn't going to help much either, i think...
they had some legal problems about the space where the boat lies, and they wont be able to rent it this year...
i don't know all the details, but it sucks...

but on a brighter note, i can still show you around when you guys are over here...

peace,

here's my advice for growing them: don't tell your dog where they are planted.

other advice: make sure the plants are well spread out, we had a lot of problems with powdery mildew, i think because i grew them up poles and doubled them back on themselves instead of trimming them down.

i planted seedlings that i bought at the nursery, my gardening book said it was better with tomatoes to transplant little plants than to deal with seeds.

good luck.

i love me some tomaters

That sucks. The honor system and personal integrity are what makes the site and the community so cool. Sorry you feel threatened! We got your back though...
caddok:
That depends.

Exactly where do you live?....

what happened?
dischord28:
Well, I think I first of it last week, over email. I couldn't quite believe that it was going to happen, but Rosie (bless her heart) had worked out all of the details. Anyhoo, we coordinated decorations and awaited the big day. Saturday dawned red, yellow, purple and fire. After passing some time cooking, cleaning, and reading the Times, the Plebe came over with his brother. We watched 'Rushmore' to kill some time, drank a few glasses of Pinot and wielded the sword. Before we knew it, we were late! Hurriedly, we sped across town. We made with plenty of time to spare and soon found ourselves surrounded by strangers. Slowly, carefully we got to know them and by the end of the evening were evening sharing some good times. Sunday broke open with a bit of a headache, but I was none the worse for wear, ready to repeat the process next weekend.
