That's really funny. This site, like anything made by people, has its ups and downs, high and low points, but even on its worst day it still beats the hell out of Myspace. 
I used to have the same opinion of PETA. (I'm not a vegetarian although I rarely eat meat anymore. I guess I would call myself a "selective omnivore"--I don't eat factory-farmed meat and I try to only buy products from companies that don't engage in animal testing.) Some of PETA's tactics are still over the top...but I've come to realize that sometimes it takes radicals to make real changes in the world, and PETA has been responsible for some drastic changes in the ways animals are treated in the meat industry, and also has gotten companies to stop testing their products on animals. So for that I thank them.
But yeah, a lot of vegans are just self-righteous, humorless gits.

I wish I could take them for you, but we have four. Try to find somebody that can take good care of them, or take them to the shelter where they will do their best to find them homes. AND keep them separated, so she doesn't get pregnant!
