Went out last night with Dale, Jacob, Matty, and Dj to a newer little Irish themed bar here in my town. Matty loved it and Dj and Dale enjoyed it too.
On my way down there, I stopped at a cash machine to get some money, and while doing so ran into Ben on his bike (actually nearly ran into him). He was going to the bar down the street from where we were and wanted us to stop by.
After two pitchers at the Irish bar, we headed down to Games to meet up with Ben and his friends. We found him hiding in an alcove in the back. We were talking when a lady came up to me and questioned if she knew me. After some name references, it was figured out.
I ended up sitting at the bar talking with her for the rest of the night, catching up and the such. She used to bartend at a bar my friends and I used to frequent and she even went to a few bars with us. She is currently a literature major, and that took up a good deal of the conversation. Her fiance was the on duty bartender, and he is very nice too.
The night ended by Jacob, Dj, and me watching the dvd for Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey in Dj's basement.
It was a nice night. Now everyone but me is heading down to the Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con this weekend. Jacob has some comics coming out that he has done the colors for, Matty drew some stuff for a major company, Dj has an appointment with the View Askew booth abouting his writing and ideas, and Drew turns twenty one on friday night. I will hate to miss it all, but I can't afford to go.
