Allo.
As of Saturday October 1st my sister is no more. We had her funeral the following Wednesday with cremation on Thursday.

In the past few days we had a major warm up and spent three days in the 40's, people were in t-shirts, a few even in shorts, it was a glorious thing. and yeah.. the treatments are terrible.. basically they play a game to see if it kills the cancer faster than the rest of your body.
i dont know if it would be something she would go for but marijuana helps a lot. from watching people im close to go through cancer battles it really seemed to help them feel better.. and they were there.. as opposed to when they were on the pile of painkillers. >_<

the dark tower series is awesome! i HIGHLY recommend it. the first book is a bit odd.. but the series really picks up.. though youll have to read some of the other stephen king books to get the full effect of it since it roams through his book universe.

Second knee surgery has lead to tons of bruising. I am bruised from my ankle up to my upper thigh, nearly to my ass. The swelling was immense again. woo hoo, I can't wait for your visit. I did start reading "The Wild Things"-- I'm only briefly into the book because of my ADD and job (customers coming in, etc) but, I have full intention on picking it up and reading it every chance I get to. I really like the way it's written.

when it comes to books I do best with children's novels. I was always a huge fan of Judy Blume, and all that sort of stuff. This book seems a little more mature, but still tip-toeing along the lines of a children's novel.

I can't tell you what I want for christmas because I'm still bad at receiving/accepting tongue but if you insist, I assure you my personality/interests are pretty simple smile

I am sick again. Fun.

Beyond that, my knee is healing nicely. I am able to walk on it without assistance. It is still weak and a bit wobbly at times, but overall, a big improvement. I still have aches and pain, but they are from the surgery and will in time go away, I have none of the original pain thankfully.
