It's just so much nicer than most of the euphamisms for taking care of bidness. Now don't make me get mean... back to the hot Deaks / NoFi action... Kgo!

Spaceballs was kind of funny though
i was never obsessed with the whole star wars series in general.
I think i started losing a bit of interest after "The empire strikes back".
Though i have seen the other ones, they just didn't blow me away.
I have strange taste in scifi films.
However i really liked that Buckaroo Banzai movie,

CRAZY thing happened to me yesterday as i was leaving my art class...
the class is in the basement of the art building, so i was heading toward the elevator, when all of a sudden i'm stopped by a beautiful woman. (this almost never happens) she looks at me and says, "excuse me, but do you know where ART 215B is? and i say, "i...

i just saw this animated short film that i saw for the first time about 15 years ago. it's called "your face" and it's by this animator named bill plympton. you may have seen it on MTV during the liquid television days (if you're old enough). it's a pretty simple little piece, but it's amazingly beautiful. and the song sung by maureen mcelheron, while really...

Yeah, I definitely enjoyed myself.
It was, among other things, just such a visually appealing movie.
Also, the acting was pretty great.

I thought it was pretty good, which is saying something cuz I'm not a big fan of biopics.
I thought Reese Witherspoon was great in that film, I'm glad she won the Oscar.

i know my journal lately has become sort of like the SG obituaries. but there is another death worth mentioning that happened yesterday. or maybe i should say, a life that ended.
Gordon Parks, probably best known for directing the original Shaft, passed away at the age of 93.

I love black comedies....but i know what you mean about films where bad shit happens to people nonstop... i enjoyed "Very bad things" but it made me a bit queasy
And "Happiness" really disturbed me!
But "After hours" fascinated me....and even though i felt so bad for Griffin Dunnes character, i couldn't help but laugh at some of the things he had to endure.
I love when he goes to Terri Garrs apt and sees the mousetraps all over her place.
I still see him pop up in films here and there, but i think he mostly directs and writes these days.
"Eating Raoul" is one of my favorite cannibal comedies.... followed by "Parents" and "Ravenous" ( which is really kind of a horror film but with some comedic touches)

alright...i had to make this entry a new update because death number three happened today. the great dennis weaver has passed away. most people probably know him for his Wells Fargo commercials in the early 90's, but he is one of my favorite actors ever and he was in one of my favorite films...Duel. (it was the first movie of the week onTV...
