i'm taking a typography class this semester and it's amazing.

one of our first projects was to combine type with a photo in an interesting way. here's what i did...



it's a quote from W.C Fields and the image is a glass of beer. i thought i'd do something a bit different and write the word "death" from the quote, on a piece of paper and put it underneith the glass of beer. my teacher seemed to like this decision. noone else did anything like that. everyone just used Illustrator fonts.


anyway...i'm curious about something. if you have illustrator or photoshop, and you have some time to kill, put a quote and an image together with an emphasis on type. maybe i'll start a thread with this topic. but i think that some of you could come up with some really good ideas.

my project is already done, so you aren't doing my homework for me.
