Aphex will always be one of my favorites.

I was so enamored at one point that I actually considered a tattoo in homage, but that would have been way too creepy fan girl of me. He's a pretty interesting bloke, though.

remj:
So wait - does this mean you weren't planning on coming? smile

Hey there!

Looks like you're having fun! I have hooked up with Lara and her "Aerialistas". Turns out she is friends with my old trap teacher in L.A. Small world. I don't know anyone in Philly anymore. They all moved to NYC. frown
Have amazing shows! See you in a few months...

Another monday and no darts.

I am in Huntingdon PA after a hellish day of airline travel, or rather, the hell was in the lack of travel due to an unscheduled 8 hour layover in the Philly aeroport. F terminal. Evility. Ugh.
All was going well from Tucson to Houston, Houston to Philly. Then "Flight Cancelled!" When i discovered at 3:00pm that i was booked...

Happy T-day to you sir.
hephaestos:
have a good one? i was out of contact with the outside world for the most part. drank a beer, two glasses of wine and a kalua and coffee. ate so much i was sore just from digesting it all the next day. watched a season and a half of arrested developement (which is brilliant) and just slept other than that.
how did shorty's turn out? oh, and there's a pretty good chance i'll be out this monday. after two false starts i can't even think of anything i'd rather do after a lab final than have a few beers.

One problem i find with the internet is that i keep burning my toast.
sigh.

I was used to cold toast. I'd start it, walk away, come back 20 minutes later thinking...you know, toast sounds really good....oh. And being in college, I ate it, partially from stubbornness, and partially because ...well, broke college student.
freckle:
i could! next time they try to steal my straw they better watch out.

my what well kept toes you have!
and i am not going to lie, i was recouperating from an organic chemistry test, writing a paper on Arnica montana, finishing a plant morphology quiz and finishing a lab write up on monday. so this monday will be a better day, lol.
i'm going to put it into my phone right now so i can't possibly forget.
good time, though?
hephaestos:
look into the other species of Arnica, especially chammensis. i think that's the species name, anyway. it's really close to that, if nothing else. Arnica montana is a threatened species and is in a very tenuous position right before going into free-fall. basically it only grows in alpine meadows that haven't been fertilized at all. if there's fertilizer that field is basically ruined for 60 years or more for Arnica. and it's an old world native so there isn't much space that hasn't been fertilized at least a bit by airborn means.
anywho, the chammensis works the same way but it's a native to the States and it's much more plentiful. lol.
