guess what!

I left work today, and I will not go back for THREE WHOLE DAYS.

during that time, I will not be anethestized or hooked up to any IV's. I will not have any dyes injected into my body. I will not be placed into any imaging machinary, and no machines will be placed into me. I will not have any electrodes stuck onto my skin or in my hair with wax, plaster, or "sticky." I will not undergo any psychological evaluation.

it's like I get this time off for no reason at all!

pretty much all I've done this past week is work and sleep.

I got a pretty hurtful e-mail from someone I have always considered my nearest and dearest friend. I have to take some time to sort through the truths and evaluate their validity. mostly, it appears that even my loved ones have reached the limit with their patience as to my whining.

I do need to focus more on the postive, but while I'm working that out, I'll keep my complaints to my paper journal.

That is too bad about the email. Shit, you don't even whine half as much as I do I bet!

As for that dream, I think you are right because we were going to have sex for our first time after we were done shopping, back at our motel. But we kept shopping & shopping & I woke up before we got there. He also was going on & on about how skinny girls aren't as pretty as girls with curves... gotta love that!!! biggrin

I've kept a paper journal since I was 8. I have VOLUMES of stuff that I've written over the years and it's always been valuable (dare I say precious) to me to go back and read my past. The online journal thing has been fun and I've only been doing that for a year, but there is something deeply personal and intimate about a blank book that you alone can fill. As far as I'm concerned, you're not a whiner -- not in the least. You're just like the rest of us, searching for what's supposed to be our own personal truth, our own personal story. Whether you do it on line for the world to share with you, or whether you do it in your own little quiet corner of the world, don't ever forget that a journal is for YOU, m'dear. It's one of those lovely presents you can always give to yourself.
