I worked as a bookseller for 2 years. Aren't some people's choices embarrassing? Sometimes the books are so obviously bad. It's lovely when someone chooses something intelligent, though. I loved that job. Too bad I spent all my paychecks on books!

I was the butt of many jokes today because I quite blatantly gave a girl a job because she was stunningly attractive. It's Christmas temp time and 6 people were in today for interview. hahaha...awesome story about the absinthe. it made me giggle. though, i think it is hype as well. the alcohol content is so high that you'd be off your tits before you are able to ingest enough thujone to have any possible effect. i think it is just the novelty of the thing that is attractive.
