Well, I am finally back on here after my little hiatus. I had some problems with my credit card, and then some family problems, which I hope are all sorted out now.

I also have a pretty big anouncement to give to you all in the next couple of weeks. It's gonna be cool, trust me.

By the way, a big thank you to Lapis_Phoenix...

OK, I promised my next post would be more positive, so here it is.

I have been a huge fan of fantasy artwork for quite some time. Right next to horror, fantasy is my favorite genre. I remember not long ago, watching the Lord of the Rings bonus disc and seeing some of the artists who worked on the art production and designs for the...

Wow ... when I was a student at Oberlin, there was a Metallica cover band called Battery that regularly played the local clubs.

That was almost 15 years ago. I wonder if it's the same band?!?
bebe:
have fun with pseudo-metallica! sounds like they would be much better than the crap that new metallica is churning out. I saw them in 1996, and thought i was going to die when they played "enter sandman"...they had it set up so it looked as though the roof was going to fall in and the stage caught on fire. it was crazy! when were all scrambling to get out...turned out it was just part of the show, but damn, all these extra large rednecks nearly trampled me!

If there is one thing I hate, its what my friend Goat calls "internet gangsters". People who have this mighty attitude over the internet, when in real life their pussies. Well, this guy right here

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=1553522

is one such person. I used to belong to a forum on another site for some shit Goth (god I hate that fuckin' word) band, and this Deviancy guy...

awww, I looked but didn't see your post frown do you have a link?
bebe:
yeah, that is some scary shit. Sounds like you were both possessed by something, maybe you both woke up at the wrong time, when some event was happening that you saw but repressed? I will be a little bit relieved to stay in a house that isn't haunted for a while, at least.
what do you know about ghosts appearing to other people outside of the haunted place? My ghost showed up at a friend's house nearby last week. confused

Well, last night was interesting. When I got off of work, I went over to my car, and stopped because I kept hearing a cat meowing over and over again. I told the other guys I worked with before they drove off, and they started to hear it too. We went over to the source of the meowing, which was a white pickup truck, and...

first advice i can give you is... if you can find a guitarist from an all ready established band to do session work on your first album... that is a HUGE PLUS!

So not that long ago I had an argument of sorts with one of the so-called True Goths from the eighties. He wasn't really the nicest person in the world, though everyone else on this particular site liked him a lot. Probably because they all thought alike. Anyways, he made all these laims about how the Goth community isn't about haunted type stuff or any...

Well that was an interesting read, and I can say with complete and utter confidence that the "goth kids" that loiter around around my city haven't got the foggiest idea that is where the Goth cultures' roots lay. Where Cradle of Filth is the only true goth band. *rolls eyes*
Come and give a speech to them and maybe they'll get a fucking job haha.
raedyn:
black metal sows tend to be filled with nicer people... unless you are from norway... they used to have crazy murders and shit with their black metal scene... but hell i've survived so far so.... yeah... black metal is by far my favorite type of music... i was thinking abou t going to that fest in virginia but i don't think i could get the time off for it....
and i usually only go to maryland once a year for death fest..... i hate maryland hahaha sorry

This was originally a post I had about how much I hate the "Goth community", but it was a bit harsh, so I deleted it.
bebe:
damnit! I would have liked to have read that smile oh, well! how are you anyway? kiss

OK, so my Ghost Hunting endeavor didn't turn out so good. I couldn't find any flashlights, I had a real hard time getting pictures, and I damn near chickened out once I looked further down that dark dark road. Even if you don't believe in ghosts, that road was fuckin' creepy as all hell. Even in the day time the place was really dark and...

Cool thanks for that, I think the Northern Gods and Nordic Cosmology are really interesting. As for my tshirts I get them from all over the place, some I got because they didnt fit a guy friend anymore, some from stupid ebay and some from different websites. I dont know if you know it but the links page here on Myrrthronth http://www.myrrthronth.de/main_links_haupt.htm has a good list of mail order site that should have tshirts and stuff too. Hellsheadbangers is a cool site too. Hope your friend finds what he wants I'll tell you if I happen to come across anything like that though.
bebe:
actually, ghost hunting with you sounds great, but I am not sure what "jaxx" is...I live about 1.5 hours north of NYC in connecticut, so not so close to you... thanks anyway! I will get those stories down for you, I SWEAR...let me know how the hunt goes!!!

So I have been interested in ghosts and ghost hunting for some time now. I always talk about actually doing it, but I never really got around to it until now.

Tonight, me and a few friends are going to a road called Bottom Road, which is only like 15 minutes from my house, to investigate an interesting story of a little girl with blood...

awww, thanks...we have been together for 10 years, so I think we can work anything out at this point! He is my best friend, foremost, the lover thing is a nice side wink
I promise I will get myself together and write you some stories, just remind me! kiss
nc_guy:
My first musical love was Led Zeppelin, and I guess that set the stage for everything to come. I've always been partial to Classic Rock/Heavy Metal, and I see no signs of that changing. It's what I crave. The day that I "grow out of it" will never come. So, yeah, that article that you mentioned is utter bullshit. You and I and countless others are proving it wrong! wink

The new Celtic Frost is awesome! This is some "stick to your ribs" metal in my opinion.

bebe:
hi, of course I will help you out, I can think of a few other stories that I will send to you soon. kiss
nc_guy:
Leaves Eyes is indeed an amazing band. Liv Kristine has quite a voice, and she ain't too bad on the eyes either. smile

Led Zeppelin will always be my all time favorite band. They just had that special quality...they had "it". Opeth is my modern day favorite band.

I almost cancelled my SG subscription recently, but I decided not to after seeing that new set of Ember and realizing that most of the people (those that talk to me, anyways tongue ) are very much worth me sticking around for.

I've also been depressed lately. And I mean extremely depressed, like I have no reason to carry on. I feel ugly and old, and...

Does that help? Don't be depressed! I am surely way older than you...I was thinking of moving to Sweden, actually...I want to get dual citizenship (my dad is a Swede)...
just listen to some metal and chill out....I am about to make cupcakes, I would send you some, but it's hot outside now and they would be moldy. puke
goatfish:

I put a picture of myself up instead of the trees that I had up before. Its not a bad picture, but for some reason after I uploaded it, it looked like I had some wierd blemishes on my face which weren't there. Oh well.....

Maybe this weekend me and Goat can get the Black Metal pictures done. Everytime we plan it we get rain...

>>>What do you think? Ever had someone try and tell you how magic doesn't exist since theres no apparent scietific basis for it yet?<<<

no, i actually haven't had anyone tell me that (yet--but i am sure i do have plenty of concerned christians praying for my soul.) magick exists to those who believe in it; i am not going to try to convince anyone of something they don't believe, and i do firmly believe that science and deity can exist cooperatively...i am most certain of it. i look at things around me in nature, and i cannot believe that they would be there if it were not will of something greater. whatever that thing may be. but it is not for me to tell someone else what/how to believe. that is a decision they have to make for themselves...i just wish people could leave us to our own beliefs without saying negative things about us.
wow...that was longwinded. lol sorry

will you be in NYC tonight for death in the forest festival? if so, I will be around a guy with a cast on his nose...hopefully you will be there! thanks for the comments on my set as well smile

Well, the Immolation and Exodus show went off great! I am a huge fan of Immolation, so seeing them alone was really worth it. Unfortunately they only played about seven songs. I wnated more more MORE!!! And they didn't play all the songs I wanted to hear, but dammit when do bands really play all the songs you want to hear? And Immolation has like...

rawr, i was at that show too! if i had known you were there, i would have said hi! i came in at the end of immolation's set, due to my friend making me run errands with her...however, i thoroughly enjoyed the show, even though i was repeatedly sucked into the mosh pit and had to get drinks as they all spilled on me frown and my husband punched someone....anyway
i don;t know what else to say to your entry, other than i felt similarly when i saw elephant man...
i grew up in the south so i understand the ridicule and such...i could go on and on
thanks for adding me as a friend! kiss
you are truly sweet!
