Turns out I actually broke my hand in three places, not two! But, I don't need surgery!! So I'm calling that a win.
Not in the greatest place mentally at the moment— this year is really kicking my ass (in case you missed it: major surgery, my beloved neice died, another significant surgery, now a broken hand). But no surgery is GOOD NEWS and I'm determined to get back in a routine of going for really long walks.
The other day I met a new neighborhood cat while out walking, and this morning I discovered another neighbor pulled all the maga crap off their truck. It's the little things.
Benji prefers doing flippyfloppies on the pavement to going for walks. I personally enjoy both.
