#1 Your favorite summer activities?
It gets 100-100F here during the summer months, so anything in the shade/water is best. Need to get out paddleboarding soon! Will still be trying to get hikes in early before the heat though.
#2 3 Things you hate about summer?
Nothing I really hate, but I wouldn't complain if didn't get *quite* as hot here.
#3 Who's going on holiday or vacation this summer?
Leaving for a week long backpacking trip today, then @adastra is visiting at the end of the month!

Currently in probably the healthiest relationship I've ever had.
#5 Favorite 3 summer drinks to stay hydrated?
Really just water 😅 sorry, I'm boring! I love apple juice too, especially fresh squeezed. But can't have apples/apple products anymore 🥲
#6 Favorite summer beaches?
Blacks beach and Coronado beach in San Diego. I've got a favorite beach in southern Utah too but everything is getting crowded here and I'm keeping it a secret 🤫 it's really hard to top Blacks though.

#8 Tell us something we don't know about you?
I've had 3 different legal names. My parents changed their minds a week after naming me and literally put white out on my birth certificate. I didn't like either of the names they gave me and picked my own as an adult 🤗
#9 Something new you want to try this summer?
I'm running out of new things to try tbh, I've been on a streak this past year! I've gotten really Ivey canyoneering though, but haven't led any routes yet, so maybe that when I finish training in rescue skills.
#10 Favorite summertime alcohol drinks?
I've never been a big drinker and often go through phases of not drinking at all. Probably a no alcohol summer for me.
#11 Who's going to see concerts this summer?
I haven't been to a concert since before the pandemmy. There's some bands playing nearish to me this summer but tbh between having my life wrecked by covid and spending so much of the last year in the wilderness, the idea of going to a crowded, loud venue is overwhelming to me. Someday I'll get there again, but probably not yet.

Carrots, spinach, and squash probably (I like winter squashes better though lol)

Regular but either is fine

Rappelled ~160 feet down into a lightless slot canyon full of water? And or: called my dad
#15 Things you love about the summer months?
Long days, lots of federal holidays/long weekends off from work
#16 Who's ready for Fall and Halloween?
Excited for fall, but not quite ready for it. I have a lot of big fall plans but everything is tentatively on hold while I figure out some medical stuff and really hoping to get stuff resolved before the fall 🤞🏻
#17 Your summer fantasies and dreams?
I mostly just want to feel better and be able to run again. Getting there.
#18 Personal question where do you see yourself in the summer of 2025?
I have no clue. A lot of goals lined up, but not sure about a realistic timeline yet. As long as I'm happy, it's good.
